On patience

I find that when I walk along and enter in to the patience of Christ as He waits for His enemies to be made His footstool, I enjoy the "thing" (whatever it is) when it arrives more. Kind of like waiting for a good meal, or to see someone you love, or the first day of summer vacation.

Our challenge is we often waste our energy struggling to get free of the present. The future will come and it will be good for God's people. He waits. He calls us to let Him be the vine and His Father the vinedresser. We are the  branches through which He will bear fruit. He calls us to be like Him and He enables us to do so.

Patience is.
