Forever or God Changed His Mind

We had a good service today and Randy brought up the topic of foreknowledge. It really means to fore love. So God loved us before. Before what? All time. 

That, as he said, is a comforting doctrine and one we should run to, not from.

As I thought about it, I thought; 

"God had to always love me, because He could not have just decided at some point to start loving me. That would mean He changed His mind along the way. 

Better still, He can not stop loving me. That too would mean He would have to change His mind. So he fore loved me and forevermore will. That is bedrock truth to build a life on with grand security.
