Life Purpose

We were reminded today by Randy about the power of a life purpose. I would suggest you get the CD or listen to the podcast on itunes. The idea is for us to think about what we are living for and what is important.

He mentioned being a Christian hedonist. I looked up the root; it means "sweet." That makes sense. We go after what is sweet to us.

So, what is sweet to you? Is God? To be truthful, I would say, "Not always."

He is sweet but my taste buds get corrupted for and from other things. Can I encourage you to spend some time in Philippians this week? As we talk more over the next several weeks about life purpose we will unpack how it is helpful when you have to make a decision or you have problems. Good stuff. Blessings.
