Water Water Everywhere

Of course you know where that comes from. "...and all the boards did shrink. Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink..." Coleridge, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner"

So, I am hoping we can do this.

We drink alot of bottled water at Perimeter. I was chatting with my friend Ric yesterday and he mentioned that one of the biggest needs in India is clean drinking water. So I am thinking of "going with the flow" (pardon the pun) and setting up a "Dasani" machine in the worship area. Buy bottled water? All profits go to drill wells in India.

Sounds simple. If we can do it, I will invite you all down for a drink. It may make you think a bit. How could we all give a little bit each time we make a purchase so those who have less can have more.

Here is a bit of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner (fascinating poem by Coleridge) to "wet" your appetite for the topic and because I knew Jim D would quote it if I did not:

"He prayeth best, who loveth best
All things both great and small;
For the dear God who loveth us,
He made and loveth all"
