To Catch a Thief

For those who missed worship this weekend, I encourage you to pick up a copy of the CD. Steve was used to deliver a great message on stealing. Yes, we are all thieves and we are thick. The good news is that God is sovereign, and gracious and sufficient and good and loves us.

At the end of the 10:45 (after hearing the message three times) I was reminded that the thief on the cross said to Jesus, "Remember me when you come into your kingdom!" He did. He did remember not just that thief but us thieves too. And that is good. We are remembered and God will love us forever, in spite of our hard hearts and wicked ways.

He may punish us along the way for our sin. There can be consequences for sure. Nothing eternal, but it might be painful, so we do not want to take license. Besides, it really is more enjoyable to live the law of love. Blessings
