Sneak Peek

I thought I might give you a sneak peak to this weekend's worship. (Not too much though). We will be reading this verse (and more) from Colossians as a Call to Worship:

"For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him."

That just really says it doesn't it? And it is worth meditating on as you think about coming into the sanctuary this weekend. You and I will be entering to worship the One who created everything. He created what we can see and what we can not see. And he did it all for Him. (BTW when I make stuff for me I want it to be good)

Now it is good to know that "everything" includes you. You were not just "Made in America", you were created in the image of God, by God, for God. That is very good to know. In fact that is what God said after He created. (Gen 1:31) "God saw all that he had made and it was very good"

That is good to remember when you are hurting a bit, have been wounded a bit or have just had a bad day. "Made by God" "Loved by God" I encourage you to read a bit in Colossians and come to worship well the One who loves you. Blessings
