The Pope's Comments

I want to make a few remarks about the recent upheaval over the Pope's remarks (quote actually) on Islam. (I am sure Jay and Sam and others have much more insight then I do)

It is easy to see I think that the religious communities of the world could quickly become polarized. Leaders could really get angry at other leaders. That may be a dangerous thing. But, I do think the "parrish" is the place where Christianity really will get lived out in the end and an impact made for the love of mankind. Maybe that is naive. But I think we worship well at the grass roots level.

So I am praying that all men would know the love of God in a way they can not even imagine possible. That His love would overwhelm them irresistably. And that Chrisitians might focus on their parrish and love well. I am also thinking all of us should become more knowledgable on what the founders of our religion said, or did not say, and how they lived to bear witness to their teachings. Blessings!
