People who need people
Barbara Streisand sang it,
"People, people who need people,
are the luckiest people in the world.
We're children needing other children.
and yet letting our grown-up pride
hide all the need inside,
acting more like children than children"
It really is a "lucky" person who knows that he (or she) needs people. For some reason (sin nature mainly) we try to pretend that we do not need people or God. It really is our grown up pride. Hiding the need we have is the root cause of isolation, hoarding, fear and failure to love our God and our neighbor. This weekend is an opportunity to worship well by learning a bit more about what that means as Bryan White teaches. He is more then a friend of the ministry. He is a co-laborer who we are fortunate to have come and be with us. He is a wonderful child of God who knows and lives his need for God and people and we his fellow children look forward to having him come and worship well with us.
