Fairy Tales

Think back for a moment. Do you remember Christmas Eve, searching the skies for a streaking sleigh, and seriously watching the Weather Channel for updates on Santa's location? Then do you remember believing in fairy tales, that maybe some time in history there really was someone like Cinderella?

Christ calls us to have a child-like faith. As children, we simply believed what we were told, no questions asked. Sure, back then we were naive and innocent, not having to experience all the struggles we have gone through. But Christ asks us to receive Him without doubt, without question, and without hesitation.

13People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
Mark 10:13-16 (NIV)

Know that Christ is as real as the air you breathe. You might not see Him directly, but His presence is a true reality.
