Piper on Recession

I don't always read it, but this week's caught my eye. He did a wonderful work speaking of why we are having a recession. My summary:

1. God does not need our money to expand the kingdom

2. We need to put down our idols of "stuff."

3. We need to get a taste of the fact that many people in the world live in a never ending recession or even depression. 

4. We who have, need to give to those who don't.

Good food for thought and very convicting. So can I encourage you as he did me. Let's not waste the recession. Blessings
