Out of Gas

I had to pick up a guy to go to church today. He was out of gas and so was the gas station. Thanks hurricane Ike!

As I did I thought, "Man during the seventies we did this alot and our grandparents did it even more in the thirties."

Gasoline is a luxury and we are dependent on distribution.

So how about spiritually? Same. We are dependent on the Spirit to fill us up. He is the pipeline and He has the gas. Our problem may be we do not know when we are "running on empty." You know what the reality is? We are running on empty every day. We need Him to fill us up daily. The station (Word and Prayer) is always open, no line and no cost.

So, can I encourage you to go to the pump? Worship Well.
