Fixing a broken processor

My computer has been broken. Various and sundry issues. IT has been working with the "warrantors" of said machine to get it fixed. I gently inquired about getting it back before I go out of town for some days. Next thing I knew, Brandon came down and gave me a computer. It was his computer. He had taken my hard drive and slipped it into his computer.

So I am using his screen, keyboard, processor etc. He gave me his computer. Now maybe he has another backup or does not need one (can't imagine an IT guy not needing one) or maybe it was just off the chart great customer service at personal expense. I think so and I thank him. To give up what is yours for the sake of someone who has something that is broken and unusable. To give up your stuff and insert into it an old man's hard drive with all the memory intact.

Sweet is what I call it and it reminds me of the gospel. Give, serve and love. He came to fix our broken lives. I am reminded of that in so many ways during the day. He came to fix our broken lives.
