Update on CD stuff

I thought I might give everyone an update on CD stuff. I love where I sit because it is right in the middle of Laura, Eric, Aaron, Jeff and other creative types.

Elvington: is just finishing up a CD. By the time it is mixed, mastered etc we expect a CD release party in January 2008. I have heard some of the cuts and they are amazing. Her lyrics are inspired. She is working with Ed Cash and is so excited about it. I will keep you updated on progress. Look for her to bless us with some of it in worship soon!

Gilbert: is in studio now working on a children's CD. We are so excited about this project. Getting great music to children is a great hope of ours. Eric is one of the best arranger composers I know and he is setting the catechism to music. Great words, great music. I believe this CD will mark families and children for years to come. We hope to have a CD release in October of this year.

Shust: will have his new CD out in early June. New music. I had the privilege of screening the words before he went in studio. Wonderful stuff. He is leading worship this weekend at Perimeter and will once over the Summer in June. He has a jammed packed tour schedule this Summer and Fall but will be with us for Thanksgiving weekend.

The rest of us: we plan to be back in studio late Summer to record another "experience" along the lines of The Good Friday Experience. We are exploring ideas now. Possible topics include prayer, living in the kingdom and giving.

Finally: we are starting to do some videoblogging now in the form of pre-service announcements. We hope to be able to deliver quality video shorts to the web soon. So, we have alot going on. All of it because God the Father created us to be creators and further cultivators of culture for the glory of His name.

WorshipWell this weekend!
