Glory to God

In the highest. That is what we sang today and it has been a bit of a theme for me as the day has progressed. We spent some time at a get together tonight with Aaron and Sarah Shust (and Daniel). Glory to God in the highest for what has happened this last year for Sandaled Feet Ministry. God has done a great work and we expect more in 2007.

I spent some time today talking about sociological issues with my daughter. We talked about sociologist's definition of marriage. Glory to God in the highest for creating the institution of marriage. It is not just an economic relationship between two people for their benefit. It is a picture of Christ's love for the church and much more.

As we prayed tonight I thought, "This is not about anyone but God. All glory and praise is due to Him because he is the grand creator and he loved us before we loved Him." Gloria In Exclesis Deo.

Tomorrow starts another work week. I pray we will worship Him well as we remember "To God be the glory, great things He has done, so loved he the workd that he gave us His Son, who yielded His life and atonement for sin.........."
