Other side of town
I had the joy today to help our sister church Covenant Presbyterian in Fayetteville. (Yes, it is a long drive). Bob Edmiston asked me to come down to as they are currently without a pastor and Bob has been preaching most weekends. I am sure those who went to Perimeter worshipped well (and I so miss being there when I am gone). I want to report that those on the other side of town worshipped well too.
It was and is a great reminder to me that all across the city, state, nation and world, people come together to worship the one true God. They are called to worship, they sing, they pray, they confess and they learn. They give their tithes and offerings. They are then sent out in the name of Christ to minister in His love. All over the city, state, nation and world. The church is universal and it is the bride of Christ. It has one foundation:Jesus Christ our Lord and every one us stand on it. Blessings
