Lost and 9/11

I was in the car this morning listening to testimonies, memorials etc. For some reason this 5th anniversary seems harder. I muttered under my breath, "I am angry" and then I listened more and wept a bit. The sorrow and misery. The orphaned kids and the widowed wives.

As I got out the the car I said audibly, "Lets do something about it" Lets unite, lets give, lets serve, lets war against crazy ideology, lets not be tolerant, lets press back hard. Lets do something and not just wait until next year when there is another memorial service. We are called to pursue justice.

Justice is a character trait of our God and we should fight for it. It will come only at great expense and only if we are as determined as the "others". They seem to have been on this new island longer then we have. The plane crashed and we find ourselves needing to figure out what the paradigm is and how we can not just survive but prevail with liberty, truth and justice for all.
