Come Early. For the Praise of His Glory

We were blessed to have a worship "rehearsal" last night. I use the "" because it really was worship, not a rehearsal of worship. Jeff had the team pray. We walked through the entire sanctuary and prayed for every seat (every person that would sit in them this weekend). That God would do a work, that He would bless and that He would draw people to Him.

Eric led the team as they sang "Yours is the kingdom Lord...." and "From the Inside Out." Goose bumps. Not that worship should always be emotional but, this is (or it was for me anyway).

And then the young women came to dance. Oh my, what a beautiful worship for Him. That was amazing too. I did really receive it as a promise from the Lord that He will turn our wailing into dancing. We also spent some time with Bryan White who will be preaching. What a wonderful man of God who will be coming as a broken vessel to teach us about love.

So, I could say more about the scripture, the quote from John Frame, the prayer time, but it would not fully convey the idea. Come. Now is the time to worship and be blessed. It is for you, from us, to Him so that you would be for the praise of His glory.
