In that day

I was thinking this morning about the verses in the bible where God says stuff like, "In that day..." You see it alot in Isaiah and Jeremiah. Old Testament prophecies. Some of the "in that day" verses are bad news like Isaiah 24:21, "In that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below." Other "in that day" verses are good news like, "In that day, the Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of His people"

In that day. He already knows what will happen in that day.

As of the writing of this blog, Sunday June 17th is "that day." It is in the future. We are praying for this Sunday and here is what we are believing:

The Lord is saying, "In that day, My people will come together at Perimeter Church and will worship Me well. They will confess, they will pour out their praises for Me. I am the Alpha and Omega. I am worthy and I am looking forward to that day. I delight in my people using the freewill I have given them to come and worship. I am glorified and they are given great joy. I am their God and they are my people. I am coming to Perimeter Sunday!!"

Of course that is a loose translation of the Hebrew.
