Lost Repent!

Well, I did not get around to blogging about it and Scott called me out last night so here goes.

For the "others" (those who do not watch Lost) you can catch it on line ABC.com and catch up...or just read along and get the gist as this is a simple spiritual truth this week:

You need to confess and repent or the black cloud will get you and kill you in a terrible way. That was pretty obvious. Saying prayers (the 23d Psalm) will not get you where you need to be. Even if you lie down for a while in a pasture or by still waters. You need to confess, especially when your priest/pastor asks you. Especially when the One who asks you knows what you have done.

And furthermore, Sayid asked a good question. He asked Locke, "What did he say?" in reference to Eko's dying words. Answer: "We are next."

Are you ready to confess? Maybe it is about bread you stole, or crackers, or more. No one knows and perhaps no one needs to know. You just need to (I just need to) confess.

I think it is a great idea because as we confess, He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Next.
